Summer Learning Camps

Students experienced a significant disruption in learning due to COVID- 19. In an effort to address the learning loss that likely occurred during this timeframe, the Tennessee General Assembly enacted the Tennessee Learning Loss Remediation and Student Acceleration Act. This law allows all districts in Tennessee to provide additional in-person summer learning opportunities for students.

Starting this summer, Humboldt City Schools will offer in-person learning camps for students in grades 1-12. Our summer learning camps will consist of:

  • 6 hours of daily instruction (Reading, Math, and Intervention)
  • 5 days a week from 8:00 am -3:00 pm
  • Breakfast, lunch, and snacks provided
  • Free transportation
